Kayak

Last summer my mom and dad bought me a kayak for helping paint the house and stain our fence. Great trade off in my eyes. This 90 degree weather is just a little too warm for me to put forth the effort to load her up on of my suv and take a cruse on the lake. When it cools down and gets into the 80s you will find me on the lake. :)

yes I know my life jacket is cool. 

I am still waiting for my best friend to quit her real job and real life and move back in with her parents so we can spend the summer together canoeing. Paddling a little, talking a lot, floating backwards, I think we have a good system. Sierra Mist, stop at Mingas for a frozen piece of candy, then back to her house so we can fish off the dock. (Where we call dad to take the fish off the hook)

BEST FRIEND - COME HOME - Boat time? :)

I did get a nice surprise. My neighbor came to town. I can always count on him for a good time swimming in my pool.

It's another hot one today. So glad I am not subbing! ha

On to homework :(

Never Ending Plants

My good friend has been kind.

I spent most of Saturday planting with my mom.

The Thing To Do

Hello! :) 

Welcome to my first blog ever. Why blog? Just because everyone else is? Sure. However, I have a diary from way back in oh 1994; so I have been "blogging" a long time. I just hope this can be an improvement from "I want a dog. My mom had a dog when she was growing up. His name was Rusty." ha. (More juicy old diary posts to come) But seriously, I don't normally follow many trends. I do not have skinny jeans. I do not wear scarfs without a winter jacket. Bring on the sweatpants and a t-shirt. 

There is one thing I do follow: electronics. When I was little I was not a fan of barbie dolls, instead I built my sister a barbie house. Then one day, my Uncle Mike showed me something that I would fall in love with, a computer. He would come down every Sunday and we would discuss computers for hours. That was our "thing."

So, truly - this is a computer trend that I see as a must. I am not promising this will be the best blog ever. I am a small town girl with a simple life: family and friends. But, life is what you make it! I am loving life one day at a time. Happy Friday!
